My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 18th April I shall be running in The Brighton Marathon.  It is the first time the event has been run and is also my first marathon.  I am raising money for The Jigsaw School.  This is a specialist school for children with autistic spectum disorders.  My son Thomas is a pupil there.  When he first started there four years ago he had no ability to communicate with others and could not sit and concentrate on anything.  Within a few months the Jigsaw teachers and their programme of Applied Behavioural Analysis, had him sitting at a desk working on simple tasks.  He now understands verbal instructions and although still has no speech as of yet, uses picture exchange cards to request things he wants. As with all such schools, Jigsaw relies heavily on charitable donations for equipment etc.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
