About my charity : Central Manchester & Manchester Children's University Hospitals Charity Central Manchester & Manchester Children's University Hospitals Charity
A new children's hospital for Manchester and the north west is currently under construction in central Manchester. The New Children's Hospital Appeal, spearheaded by Bob the Builder, aims to raise £20m to support projects within the new hospital. The Appeal will provide the latest equipment for diagnosis and treatment and a place for parents to stay when their child is in hospital. My personal message:

Well what can I say, an absolutely fantastic day, very humbling in many ways and Drury managed it in 1 Hour 3 Minutes and 40 seconds finishing 15,899 th, probably would have knocked 3,000 places off this if I hadnt stopped for a pee!!

To everyone that sponsored me on and off line my most sincere thanks, you all know who you are!!!

Special thanks to Carole for all her encouragement and Neil, Karen, Maisy and the star of the show Louie who met me for a beer after the run and boy did he look well!!

I've just registered for next years run where I will be attempting a world record time of 7.6 seconds, shouldnt be a problem!!!
