Operation EuroJandal

The Jandalpower march across Europe is currently on hold while I earn some money to fill the expedition coffers.

February 4th 2008 (in conjunction with World Orphan Week - WOW) marks the start of a never before attempted expedition across Europe using jandal power (or flip-flops as they are known in some countries).

Unaided, I will utilise the jandals on my feet to take me from Tarifa, Spain to Istanbul, Turkey.

There will be no shoes or transport of a vehicular or animal based nature involved.

Operation Eurojandal is about simplicity.  Slip on your jandals and go.

The aim of SOS Children´s Villages is simple: 
Kids need a mother.
Kids need a home.
Simple.
SOS gives disadvantaged children just that.

Donate through this page and while I´m crossing Spain, France, Italy, Slovenia, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria,  I will purchase* (on your behalf) a little plot of land, with the use of a handcrafted, environmentally friendly flag with your name on it, to mark your territory and my appreciation.

You can purchase (by way of a donation) your very own piece of land, town, village or national park.

Here´s what a small donation will get you:

a village, a river, or a hamlet for £10
a township, a borough or a boondocks for £20
a castle, a metropolis, or a gorge for £50
a mountain, a principality, or a national park for £100
or your very own empire for  £500

or you can pick up multiple sections of land as I make my way towards Istanbul, Turkey.
