RESPECT 24/7 I have just completed the Manchester 10k run, 18th may 2008 (1hr, 5min, 48 sec) the Great Yorkshire run, 10k, (in sheffield) 7th september (1hr, 8min, 17 sec) I am now in training to do The Great North Run, (13 miles, ouch) in Newcastle, on sunday 5th October.. THANKS So far £150+ has been raised at a Tombola, held in Farnworth, near Bolton, each sunday morning, and i hope to keep this going as long as possible. Thanks to all who recently bought both the (50) pin badges and (150) beanie keyrings. A Raffle and Auction took place on saturday 12th July, at the BRADFORD INN, in Miles Platting, Manchester, and the official amount raised from this event is £1623.35... A signed Manchester United football was provided by Christie's, and auctioned off for £360, raffle ticket sales amounted to £650, with 43 prizes given out on the night, inluding some that were donated back and sold to the highest bidder.
