My story

Serena is my god daughter who was born unable to swallow (TOF) and needed emergency surgery in Alder Hey Hospital.  The support her family received from both Alder Hey and TOFS was exceptional.

Seri is now a bright, chatty beautiful little girl of 2; she still has problems eating and needs daily medication.  As a result of the surgery when she was born, if Seri gets a cold it often turns in Bronchiolitis and she has to stay in hospital.  She will have to live with the affects of TOF for the rest of her life, but I am sure Alder Hey and TOFS will be there to support her and her family.

I am running the London Marathon for both these worthwhile charities, I would be very grateful for any support.  Just Giving doesn’t have the facility to split the sponsorship over two charities so therefore I have set up two pages and would be grateful if you could split your sponsorship.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Alder Hey Imagine Appeal gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
