My story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I completed the London Marathon in 4 hrs 50 mins to raise much needed money for The Big Issue Foundation!!!!!!

As the Credit Crunch bites their work is critical as the number of homeless people increases. This is really hard for them as due to the economic crisis they are receiving less public donations. We hope our efforts will go a long way towards making an impact and your contribution would be of huge help in reaching our goal.

Research suggests that throughout the UKthere are some 380,000 single homeless or vulnerably housed people. The Big Issue Foundation has been at the forefront of making inroads into this huge problem. Its core ethos is self help. To offer support to homeless and socially excluded people who seek to gain control of their lives and help them move off the streets and into a home and a job. So I thought it'd be a great idea to do something totally crazy to raise some cash for a cause that empowers and helps people help themselves.

Running the London Marathon was the craziest thing I could think of. The longest I have managed is just over 11 miles so that's a whole lot more for me to complete the marathon! I am totally determined to do this and have pledged to raise £2,000 so I need your help.

I've figured to reach my target I just need 100 people to sponsor me £20.00. If you can't manage that maybe you could be a 1/2 a person or maybe just a little finger or even a toe but I could do with all the help I can get!
